LEADERSHIP TEAMS

Student Leadership Team

The Student Leadership Team is a group of students who help organize various events that benefit the Student Body. The team works together to plan school wide events in order to enhance the high school experience for all, collaborating with both students and teachers to coordinate and implement initiatives. The team aims to share their leadership experience not only with its members, but every Holy Cross student– shaping leaders and leaving a positive impact.

Web Team

Webteam is a group of students in grades 8-12 who are interested in media, tech, and promotions around Holy Cross. They cover all school events via photography and videography, as well as recaps posted on their Instagram @crusaderconnect. Within Webteam, there are eight departments that each have their own set of responsibilities: Video editing, Social Media/Graphics, Photography, Videography, Content Creation, Livestream/Tech Crew, HC News, and Communications. Through the combined power of all these departments, Webteam makes sure to keep the school community up to date with all Holy Cross-related affairs via social media, newsletters, and school news.

Music Student Leadership

The Music Student Leadership Team (MSL) is a student-led organization dedicated to the success of the school's various music events. Composed of students from grades 9 to 12, they work alongside the music teachers to oversee logistics, lead creative production, and manage the program's social media presence. Beyond the technical side, the team continues to foster a supportive environment for each student within the program. To learn more about the team and what they do, visit @crusadermusic on Instagram, and check out the student website!".

Campus Ministry Leadership Team

The Campus Ministry Team is a student-run leadership group aimed to provide the student body with more opportunity to experience the richness of the Catholic faith on a day to day basis.  The three main ministries for this group are prayer, discernment, and outreach.  They host morning prayer in the school chapel at 8:15 every day and have a group of dedicated musicians to lead worship.  They put together a school-wide Eucharistic Adoration twice a year, during Advent and Lent, in conjunction with confession, to assist the student body in encountering Christ's limitless mercy.  They also assist in the subsequent Advent and Lenten prayer service in the school gymnasium. Once per month, they organize a backpack run, serving the people who are homeless in the Downtown Eastside; they purchase their own materials to make around 150 sandwiches and hand them out to the community in need. The student body is encouraged to attend our daily morning prayer and serve with us on our monthly backpack runs.

CLUBS

HCBC

The Holy Cross Business Club (HCBC) is the student-led leadership team of the Business Program. Composed of grades 10-12, HCBC works towards furthering business education by focusing on developing transferable leadership and entrepreneurial skills, while educating others on financial literacy.

As the business arm of Holy Cross, our initiatives include organizing events where we promote our Marketing and Entrepreneurship startups, hosting different webinars and workshops on networking and personal profile building, and organizing fundraising initiatives for the school.

We are currently working on an HCBC sponsored Alumni Spring Gala on April 9, 2022 for Holy Cross Regional High School’s new school building. If you are a past Holy Cross Alumni, sign up for our school’s new Alumni Portal.

J.E.L

JEL stands for Justice-Eco-Life and it is our mission to promote Catholic Social Teaching on social justice, environmental stewardship, and respect for the dignity of human life in all its stages. We meet every Thursday after school in the Learning Commons where we learn, pray, and plan out exciting projects, events and initiatives at Holy Cross as well as in our wider community. Join us and help make a difference. EVERYONE is welcome!

Baking Club

The baking club’s main focus is bringing students together through baking while giving back to our school. We bake a variety of treats, and sell them to Holy Cross students, turning something creative and fun into a meaningful contribution. All of the profits go toward the school’s new building, helping create a better and more productive learning environment for future generations. Beyond baking and fundraising, we meet twice a month to build our skills and community, where members share baking tips, learn new techniques, and support each other’s growth as bakers.
